SUMMARY:Sustainable Groton: Free Tire Drop Off!
DESCRIPTION:Once again\, Sustainable Groton is holding one of our free tire drop events at the Groton Transfer Station. We’ll be there on Saturday\, May 3\, 2025 from 7:30am until 4:30pm (rain or shine) to collect your old tires to be fully recycled.\n \n\n\nCome by and drop off your old tires (on or off the rims) and we’ll cover the usual drop-off fees for you! It doesn’t matter if your tires are old\, new\, wet\, dry\, clean\, or covered in dirt or mud. In fact\, we kind of like the tires dirty because it means you’re helping remove a potential mosquito breeding ground!\n\n\nWe’ll help you get rid of some yard and garage eyesores that you’ve likely been meaning to do something about for a while. And you’ll be helping us and everyone in Town by removing fertile breeding grounds for mosquito larvae come Spring.\n \n\n\nThis event is open to Groton residents only and you don’t need to have a transfer station sticker to participate.
